Brief description:
- A smooth, microcellular foam, available in densities of 2, 4 and 6 lbs per cubic foot and EVA modified, softer, more flexible grades.
- Standard bun and sheet sizes are 48 x 72 and 48 x 96 in 4” to 0.4” thickness with 0.03” tolerance.
- Specifications met include Coast Guard approval for floatation devices, motor vehicle fire retardancy MVSS302, and Class A smooth surface for packaging abrasion.
- This foam type will not absorb water as the microcellular cell size is too small for a water molecule to penetrate.
- Excellent form any kind of applications involving water or fluid contact, floatation, and/or fluid gasketing applications.
- Smooth enough for printing graphic arts and designs.
- Other applications include canoe and kayak, car-carrier pads, and protective packaging for superior visual appearance.
